  • My life in comparison to the life of a lily.

    When I was born I was like a lily seed that the Lord planted at the bottom of a pond deep within the miry muck and  mud. As time went on and things in my life got really dark and dim that was the time that the Lord was pulling me through all of the miry muck and mud. Then came a day when The lord got His mighty hand and me and I began to see light up above and that's when I rose above the miry muck and mud and the Lord began his cleansing on me. Now as I coninue to rise I have a whole new look on my life. Even though I am still in constant battle and things still get hard I am continually rising upward being cleansed by the Lord. There will come a day when my days of battle are over and I rise to the top and spread my pedals out on top of the water there I will stay and give constant praise to the one who faithfully and painstakingly brought me up and made me who I am today. THANK YOU JESUS AND PRAISE BE TO YOUR HOLY NAME.

  • A Candle At Christmas

    Scripture promises that the peace Christ brings will in time cover the earth, beginning in Jerusalem and spreading to the farthest reaches of the globe. Isaiah wrote concerning Christ and His servants, "How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who proclaims peace ..." (Isaiah 52:7). Christ first announces His intent. He will then fulfill His promise.

    Candles At Christmas

    I would light a Christmas candle of peace
    to burn within your heart,
    And cheer you with it's gentle glow
    whenever we're apart.

    That you may be given strength and calm
    and courage for each new day,
    A peace that the world can never give
    and cannot take away.

    I would light a Christmas candle of love
    to burn so clear and strong,
    To shine with an unfailing glow
    and bring to your heart a song...

    For the Prince of Peace came down to earth
    from His radiant heaven above
    On that first Christmas long ago,
    to bring us His Father's love!

  • Whispering Trees

    Whispering Trees

    From birth we go through seasons
    God created a wonder.
    Some people call them trees.
    I call them God's intercom,
    He talks to us with leaves

    If you walk down a wooded path
    And listen with your mind.
    You can hear the perfect voice
    Of God speaking, very kind

    The leaves blowing in the wind
    Will put your mind at ease
    Which will allow you to decipher
    The whispering from the trees.

    Ask yourself the questions
    About life's many worries
    And if you listen very close
    The trees will tell the stories.

    If you are having problems
    And your life is ill at ease.
    Take a walk down that path
    And listen to the trees.

  • Prayer For a Friend

    Mt 18:19-20

    19. "Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven.
    20. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them."

    Prayer Poem For My Friend

    Prayer For My Friends

    The most precious gift you will ever receive;
    is prayer from someone who in Jesus believes.

    It's not wrapped with ribbons or bows,
    and few people hear and few people know.
    But it's written in the chronicles of heaven.
    Each prayer muttered, is a special gift given.

    And yes, I said a prayer for you tonight;
    For you to be calmed from all your fright.
    For healing, and you to learn of God and His ways.
    And, be able to look up at Him
    and give Him honor and praise.

    I can't see your face
    and barely know who you are;
    But I know one thing,
    each muttered prayer will go so very far.

    Oh my brothers and sisters in Christ;
    Each prayer you whisper
    is the greatest gift you will find.
    It comes from the love of a pure heart;
    That will last forever and never depart.

    Someday we will all meet face to face;
    We will be able to give such a warm embrace;
    As the Kingdom of Heaven allows us to share;
    In person what we can only do in prayer.

    The most precious gift you will give; Is a prayer,
    a sweet smelling fragrance so others can live.
    By laying down your life in such a simple way,
    Gives more to another than any gift will ever convey.

    Oh prayer, no it does not have ribbons or bows;
    It costs us our time, and our love that we share.

  • My Savior's Hands

    Psalm:22

    “But because of our sins He was wounded, beaten because of the evil we did. We are healed by the punishment He suffered, made whole by the blows He received.”

    My Savior's Hands

    I have a Savior's hand to lead me
    When the road I travel is steep
    The same hands that will touch me
    Drying tears that I might weep

    I will have a cross to carry
    But my burdens alone I'll not bare
    For the same hands that have bled for me
    Are the ones all my burdens share

    I have a Savior's hands to lift me
    When the seas of life have grown deep
    The same hands that will guard me
    Through the long night while I sleep

    He's a presence ever Holy
    Always standing right here by my side
    He is the One who solely
    For my own sins was crucified

    I have a Savior's hands to hold me
    Where forever my soul shall peep
    The same hands that enfold me
    His own lamb, His once lost sheep

    Evil shall not overcome me
    Nor will death hold the sting to my grave
    For the Savior who had died for me
    Lives with nail-scars so prove I'm saved!
